As part of it's new Mentoring Program, Cowboy Artists of America will take over Scottsdale Artists School in April 2010, when some members of the group hold a week of mentoring classes for up-and-coming western artists.

John Coleman himself will be one of the instructors from April 19th through April 23rd. His classes will be available from 9am to 4pm and will be on Sculpting the Human Form. Tuition for the class is $995 + $35 Model fee. To register for this class, Click Here.

"The focus of my workshop will be the human figure and portrait head with the emphasis on gesture, design and surface texture. Moving beyond the basics to explore what makes a sculpture art, as opposed to a model or mere replica of life. I will also share my techniques and philosophy on sculpting the characters of the American West."
